Manolo | Our Story

A Family Story Since 1930
Our story began in Burgos, Spain, in 1930, when Don Manuel Benito and his wife, Doña Claudia Ortiz, founded the first family-owned Manolo business. From a small food truck serving only churros and buñuelos, they laid the foundation for a family tradition that would travel far beyond Spain.

Small Beginnings, Lasting Traditions
Churros and buñuelos were where it all started. As our family grew, so did Manolo, carrying the flavors of those early days into new communities. These family photographs are a glimpse of the people and places behind the name.

A Family Tradition Across Borders
Over the years, the Manolo name reached Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica and Panama. With each new chapter, our family carried forward a commitment to distinctive flavor, homemade products and a warm welcome.

At Home in Miami Since 2003
In 2003, we opened our doors in Miami, bringing our family’s story to Collins Avenue. Today, we continue that tradition with high-quality homemade food and attentive service. Every guest who joins us is a reason to keep improving, while staying true to the flavors that brought us here.
The churros
They're crispy outside and soft inside, and we fill them with dulce de leche. Have them with a coffee.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Stop in for a coffee, a pastry to go, or a full dinner. Our breakfast combos come with coffee and orange juice.
